PLANT DESCRIPTION
Sun/part shade. Billowing, feathery foliage makes for a graceful specimen and great special effects when backlit by the sun. Use it in the mid-level in a landscape bed, or cascading along architectural edges.
Despite the name, this muhly is not related to bamboo and it’s not invasive; the name is just a reference to the stout grass stalks.
In some years, bamboo muhly will remain nearly evergreen, but it can be cut back as needed to restart, often in mid-spring
